These four units work collaboratively to assure that university facilities meet the needs of the community.
We recognize that the AU community and our many campus visitors are affected by the quality and condition of campus facilities and FO utilizes a variety of methods to assure that our facilities are as good as they can be. Our goal is to exceed customer expectations each time we respond to a request for service. Campus facilities are split into five zones in order to better deliver service to our customers. Most services are delivered through staff assigned to geographic zones. Working in zones helps the staff learn about their customers' needs and the requirements of particular facilities. Occasionally the zone assignments of FO staff are changed to keep the staff fresh and to keep fresh eyes on our facility responsibilities.
