Join the American University Young Alumni Chapters for exclusive social, cultural, and professional events. Our young alumni chapters are open to all alumni who graduated in the last 10 years and who are in the DC or NYC areas, regardless of age or type of degree. 

Young alumni chapter leaders sponsor many events around DC and NYC throughout the year. These include happy hours, music and art events, and community service opportunities. Recently the DC chapter has hosted events like Totally Tchaikovsky with the AU Symphony Orchestra, Washington Nationals games, Wreaths Across America, and Alumni Day at Bender Arena. 

The NYC chapter hosts events such as a visit to the Museum of the Moving Image, paint and sip night, and holiday parties. Joining the DC YAC or the NYC YAC gives you access to these awesome events and meaningful opportunities to connect with your peers.
