Join us for a combined Accounting & Finance Day, hosted by the Kogod Center for Career Development and co-sponsored by Kogod's Accounting Club and Financial Management Association (FMA).

Before the big day, on Thursday, September 14, there will be a panel of representatives from the Big 4 giving students a taste of what it's like to work at one of the largest accounting firms.

On Monday, September 18, Accounting & Finance Day will kick off at 11:00 a.m. with a finance panel featuring alumni in various areas within the finance world. Then, at 12:30 p.m., a panel of alumni and employers from the accounting industry, representing the various opportunities within accounting, i.e. public (audit, tax and advisory), government and not-for-profit, will speak. Students will have an opportunity to learn more about the career tracks within each of these areas and hear how these alumni have had unique career paths to their current jobs.

After the panels, a career fair will be held in MGC from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. where students and employers will have the opportunity to meet and discuss career opportunities. Students must dress professionally and bring their resumes!

After the fair, we invite students, employers and alumni to join us for a networking reception in the Kogod Student Lounge from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. where there will be the opportunity to further your networking.

These events are free for all employer and alumni participants.
