Special Olympics International: Improving the Lives of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities through Data Analytics and Unified Sports Programming

Guest Speaker: Christy Weir, Senior Director, Global Development and Government Relations, Special Olympics International will introduce Nicole Preston, President and CEO, Special Olympics DC

The Alan Meltzer Speaker Series is a signature event for American University's Kogod School of Business. The Series brings top business leaders to campus to provide insight into complex business issues, and to meet and network with students. Speakers also share their own paths success, helping inspire students to pursue their passions and make the impact they want.

Past speakers include David Trone, CEO of Total Wine and More; Sheila Johnson, founding partner of BET; and Ronnie Mervis of Mervis Diamonds. The Series is open to the entire American University community, including faculty, students, alumni, and staff.
