U.S. News Recognizes Kogod’s PT MBA Program as Top Notch

Kogod School of Business faculty recognized for merit in teaching, research, and service

Kogod was ranked one of the top 100 part-time MBA programs in U.S. News and World Report's graduate program rankings for 2012. Kogod was ranked 82 out of the almost 200 part-time MBA programs around the country that were included.

The ranking was based exclusively on how other business school deans and program directors view Kogod's part-time MBA program.

"The ranking shows that other business schools view Kogod as an excellent program for part-time MBAs," said Director of Graduate Programs Anne Ferrante. "Our program meets the working professional DC-area residents where they are and lets them easily fit business school into their working life," she added.

Kogod's evening classes, Metro red line accessibility and self-paced schedule allow graduates to finish in as few as three years—or take their time and finish in five years, Ferrante said.

The schools' rankings were based on a peer assessment survey; deans and MBA program directors rated the programs from 1 (marginal) to 5 (outstanding), and the rates were averaged.

In U.S. News and World Report’s 2010 ranking, Kogod came in at No. 57 for best undergraduate business programs and No. 24 for best undergraduate business specialties in International Business.
