Kogod Honors Students

  1. Madison Aubochon

    Madison Aubuchon

    Madison is an accounting major who hopes to become a forensic accountant or auditor. In addition to being one of our new Kogod honors students, she is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma business honor society. Madison joined the Kogod Honors Program to challenge herself.

    Nikhil Clayton

    Nikhil is a business of entertainment major who spent the summer as an intern editing videos for a web series in Dallas. He is excited to join the Kogod Honors Program because he enjoys being part of a community of like-minded people. 

  1. Abby Cohan

    Abigail Cohan

    Abigail is a finance major. She joined the Kogod Honors Program so that she could take advantage of all the opportunities that Kogod has to offer. This summer, Abigail interned for Children at Risk, a nonprofit in Texas. This semester she is interning with AU Hillel.

    Malia Covington

    Malia is a finance major. During the spring 2019 semester, she interned with Millennial Nail Bar, a student start-up business through Kogod’s incubator program. Malia is excited to be a part of the Kogod Honors Program so she can learn more about how business impacts the world.

    Ziqiang Dong

    Ziqiang is a finance major. He looks forward to joining the Kogod Honors Program because the program helps students cultivate skills needed to work in interdisciplinary areas. In the past, Ziqiang interned with Guotai Junan Securities in China and had the opportunity to work alongside the company account manager.

    Kellymarie Fisher

    Kellymarie’s goal is to use business as a platform to help others. This semester she is interning with Senator Chuck Schumer. Kellymarie joined the Kogod Honors Program to challenge herself while also learning how to use business to create meaningful change in the world.

  1. Emily Fishman

    Emily Fishman

    Emily created a specialization in sports management to combine her passion for business and sports. She knows that the Kogod Honors Program will prepare her for a competitive future in the sport industry. In spring 2019, Emily interned with Millennial Nail Bar, a student start-up business through Kogod’s incubator program. This summer, she interned with the University of Pennsylvania’s football team. 

  1. Thomas Horgan

    Thomas Horgan

    Thomas is a business administration major with a specialization in information technology. He hopes to have a career in technology and business. Thomas is looking forward to being part of the Kogod Honors Program because he welcomes the opportunity to further integrate himself into the business world.

  1. Alejandro Irizarry

    Alejandro Irizarry

    Alejandro is a finance major who recently was a communications intern at the Millennium Water Alliance. He is looking forward to the networking events that he will be attending as a member of the Kogod Honors Program. 

  1. Sleedja Ishmake

    Sledja Ishmakej

    Sledja is the 2018 recipient of the AU Emerging Global Leader Scholarship. This full-ride merit is awarded to one international student per year. This year, Sledja is a peer consultant for the Kogod Center for Business Communications. She is the president of AU Undergraduate Women in Business and a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity. She hopes the Kogod Honors Program will help her develop her career path.

  1. Katrina Kavanagh

    Katrina Kavanagh

    Katrina is a business administration major with a minor in environmental science. She is a Kogod ambassador, the treasurer of the Zero Waste Club, and a member of Sigma Kappa. She hopes the Kogod Honors Program will help her on her path to working in corporate sustainability.

  1. Justine Levine

    Justin Levine

    Justin is excited to be in the Kogod Honors Program because he knows how valuable networking and mentorship opportunities are for his future. He hopes to work in wealth management or consulting and to graduate Summa Cum Laude. Justin’s greatest academic achievement thus far was making the Dean’s List in spring 2019. 

  1. Casey McElroy

    Casey McElroy

    Casey is a business administration major. One of her proudest accomplishments at AU was making the dean’s list during her freshman year. Casey is excited to network with peers, professors, and other professionals through the real-world applications that the Kogod Honors Program will provide. Casey is also a member of the AU dance team.

  1. Allison Rever

    Allison Rever

    Allison is a business and entertainment major who has been an intern at MeansDatabase in AU’s Center for Innovation since January 2019. She is also the community service chair for Alpha Epsilon Phi. Allison is excited about the Kogod Honors Program because she knows the program will challenge her to work even harder and prepare her professionally.

  1. Joshua Wilens

    Joshua Wilens

    Joshua is excited about the mentorship aspect of the Kogod Honors Program. He says, it is always easier to have guidance from juniors and seniors who were once in your shoes. Joshua also hopes to conduct impactful research and gain a new perspective on the business world. Last year, Joshua interned with Jacobs Cordova & Associates. He is the captain of the AU men’s club basketball team. 

  1. Matthew Wilkinson

    Matthew Wilkinson

    Matthew joined the Kogod Honors Program because he believes that interacting and taking classes alongside students who are driven like him is a great way to make connections and stay motivated. Matthew is a TA for KSB 100 this fall and looks forward to using his skills to help others. 

     

About Our Honors Program

The Kogod Honors Program welcomes a new cohort of talented and ambitious students each year. Students in this program are enrolled in honors-designated courses and take using business as a force for meaningful change to the next level!
