This page displays any issues with AU Library Search that have already been reported and are currently being investigated. This list is updated every Monday at 11:00am.
Links from AU Library Search to Ebsco databases are not working consistently. We are working with Ebsco to find a resolution. The best work-around is to go directly to an Ebsco database from the Databases A-Z list.
"Add to Favorites" functionality
"Favoriting" a record not owned by AU doesn't add the record your favorites list
"Available Online" Links
Some ebooks say they are available online, but under "view online" there is no link. All other "available online" links just lead to the empty "view online" section.
After requesting certain records, users cannot see that the request was successfully submitted without scrolling the screen up.
Course Reserves search
Course Reserves search does not include Music Library reserves.
Top Navigation Functionality
Right clicking or middle clicking breaks links in the top navigation.
Not all resources were activated via migration when AU Library migrated to Primo. While this is being corrected, missing resources may be accessed via the A-Z list.
Oxford Handbooks Online
Links from AU Library Search now work. However, there may be some titles showing up in search results that the Library does not actually have access to.
Links to Streaming media may be outdated because we are in the process of updating and organizing records for individual titles in “Local Collections.” This process is time-consuming and will take some time to complete. A workaround is to check the Media page for links to platforms such as Alexander Street Press, Films on Demand, Kanopy, etc.
Link resolver does not always resolve accurately to the full text. The problem has been reported to OCLC and ExLibris who are working on a solution.
Some holdings information for ejournals do not accurately reflect our library’s holdings. These are being reviewed and manually updated.
