School of International Service Building

Main Campus
Academic Building
The School of International Service building opened in 2010. The 71,000-square-foot, environmentally friendly building houses the nation’s largest school of international affairs. Designed by renowned “green” architect William McDonough with William McDonough & Partners, the structure is designed to reduce energy consumption and minimize construction waste. To protect public health, interior spaces feature natural lighting, nontoxic materials, and climate controls that ensure air quality. The spacious building brings together in one location faculty and staff who had been scattered around campus. Parking is available in the subterranean garage, which features energy-saving LED lights.
