Summer With Sine at American U.: A Conversation With Former Congressman Will Hurd

Former Congressman Will Hurd (R-TX) will join Amy K. Dacey, executive director of the Sine Institute of Policy & Politics at American University, for a conversation about his book “American Reboot: An Idealist’s Guide to Getting Big Things Done,” a forward-thinking playbook for how our nation can live up to the ideals of bipartisanship, inclusivity, and democratic values.

This virtual discussion entitled “American Reboot, An Idealist's Guide to Getting Big Things Done,” is the second event in the Summer With Sine series at American University’s Sine Institute of Policy & Politics. Events in the series feature leading experts in politics, public policy, food security, and the media on-campus and off as they share their ideas, perspectives, and creativity to re-imagine the post-pandemic nation and world.

The Sine Institute summer series builds on the university’s new “Challenge Accepted campaign that highlights the passionate and engaged AU community and the meaningful change it creates in local, national, and global pursuits.
