Why Workday?

Understanding the launch of AU’s new ERP system starts with the loneliest number: one.
When Workday debuts in January 2024—the culmination of 18 months of work by more than 90 staff members, with input from faculty and student advisors—it will integrate many of the university’s core processes, including HR, payroll, and finance, under one cloud-based system.
AU will join more than 400 higher education institutions using Workday, which boasts 65 million users across 10,000 organizations. The new system will produce new efficiencies and modernize essential functions of the university. But the transition will also take time and require a learning curve.
