The Kay Spiritual Life Center gives out annual awards to those who have done the most for interfaith and religious understanding.
Interfaith Bridge Builder Award
The Interfaith Bridge Builder Award is given to one student, one faculty member, and one staff person who have done the most to promote interfaith understanding and to build meaningful relationships among different religious communities.
An Interfaith Bridge Builder Awardee demonstrates concrete actions to improve interfaith understanding and has helped to provide opportunities for members of different religious traditions to encounter one another in meaningful and constructive ways.
The Sacred Space Award
This award is given to one student, one faculty member, and one staff person who have done the most to create a climate of religious acceptance and demonstrated constructive and respectful engagement with religious faith in the classroom, in the workplace, or in any aspect of university life.
The Sacred Spaces Awardee has a demonstrated record of helping the university community to encounter religion in a respectful and constructive way through learning, service, or other programming.
