Earn your wings when you work with your Orientation Leader and small group in-person to complete Eagle Summit, an orientation experience that connects New Eagles to their campus through exciting activities, challenges and fun prizes! During the Summit, you will learn about supportive resources and campus life at American University, while meeting other new students. Your group will be led by an Orientation Leader who will help you acclimate to the university. In addition to learning more about resources at AU, you will learn your way around campus through our New Eagle Challenge. By the time you complete Eagle Summit, you will be well on your way to success. We can't wait to see during All-American Welcome!

Eagle Summit Dates

Eagle Summit takes place on Thursday, August 25th and Friday, August 26th. Your Eagle Summit date is determined by your move-in date and any programs you may be a part of during All-American Welcome. You will receive and email with your assigned date, details of the program and check-in instructions the week of August 15th-19th.

Students will be joining restorative practice circles to start building their community at AU.

You’ve earned your wings! It’s time to celebrate at the finish line and take a team victory photo. Check in with your Orientation Leader and turn in your Eagle Summit Challenge card to be entered into a raffle for awesome prizes!
