The Conduct Council is a board of faculty, staff, and students who will sit on hearing panels to resolve non-academic student conduct allegations referred to a disciplinary hearing as outlined in the Student Conduct Code. Conduct Council members also review appeals.

Students, faculty, and staff may apply to become members of the Conduct Council by contacting Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution Services. In addition, various leadership groups on campus nominate Conduct Council members to apply.

Conduct Council members receive extensive training on the Student Conduct Code and disciplinary process. Additionally, all Conduct Council members are required to participate in annual training on the issues related to dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking, including how to participate in a Sanction Panel that addresses these violations.
