Ivy Broder is a widely published scholar, an expert to federal agencies, nongovernmental organizations, and professional associations, and a recipient of awards at AU for her outstanding teaching, service, and contributions to academic affairs. She was a Brookings Economic Policy Fellow and served as program director in economics at the National Science Foundation. For the American Economics Association, she has been a member of the Board of the Committee on the Status of the Economics Profession and the COSSA-AEA Liaison Committee. She has been a consultant to many federal and international agencies.
