Sabrina-Yvette earned a Bachelor’s degree from Howard University in Psychology and began her career as a special education teacher using applied behavioral analysis with Autistic children in Montgomery County, Maryland. She moved on from teaching to government consulting working with clients like the National Health Service Core (NHSC) and the Delaware Department of Education partnering to implement No Child Left Behind. She was also employed in another education role partnering with K-12 teachers to implement technology in the classroom. She spent several years with a financial non-profit organization providing professional development services which included coaching, instructional design, classroom and web based facilitation to the employees. She earned a graduate certificate from University of Maryland, Baltimore County in instructional design and earned her Professional in Human Resource (PHR).
