Jessica is one of two psychiatric care providers at the AU Student Health Center, and is board certified as a psychiatrist. She completed her psychiatry residency at UCLA’s Semel Institute in 2012, where she was chief resident at the UCLA Women’s Life Center. In 2012 she moved to the DC area where she began a private practice at the Washington Center for Women’s and Children’s Wellness, with an emphasis on perinatal mental health. She began working at AU in 2017 to pursue her interest in working with young adults. Her primary responsibilities at AU include assessment, diagnosis, and medication management of psychiatric disorders. Originally from Virginia, she has also spent time in Oregon and Los Angeles. Outside of AU she enjoys being outdoors, travelling, eating delicious foods, and spending time with her family and fluffy dog, Mochi.
