- Kate grew up on Maryland's Eastern Shore, and she has been in the D.C. area since 2012. Previously Kate worked for a variety of environmental non-profits, including The Nature Conservancy, Rock Creek Conservancy, and Potomac Conservancy. She spends her free time staying active, including practicing yoga, participating in Bar Method classes, doing blues dancing, and going hiking and kayaking.
