Karen Ives serves at the program coordinator for the Intercultural and International Communication program; the International Media program; and the Ethics, Peace, and Global Affairs program on the SIS side.
With a master's degree in rhetoric from Carnegie Mellon University, Karen Ives spent two years in the marketing department of a Fortune 500 company. Following that, she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Mongolia for two years, then returned to academia to pursue a degree in Intercultural and International Communication at the School of International Service. In her role as program coordinator, she is dedicated to connecting students to resources and supporting the school's mission of service.
