Assistant Dean of Marketing and Strategy
Kogod School of Business
Lara Kline leads the strategic marketing and communications efforts for the Kogod School of Business and serves as a strategic advisor to the Dean on new initiatives and school-wide priorities. She oversees all brand-related matters, web communications, media relations, public relations, internal communications, university-wide marketing collaborations, and corresponding financial responsibilities for the business school. Prior to American University, she led marketing and communications efforts for The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and the Corcoran College of Art + Design/Gallery of Art, as well as serving association and technology clients for Fleishman Hillard International Communications. Ms. Kline earned her MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and her bachelor of arts from American University in Public Communications and CLEG (Communications, Law, Economics, and Government).
