Lana Knox serves as the Assistant Director of Graduate Bridge Programs in the School of Professional & Extended Studies. Lana coordinates the Graduate Gateway Program and AU's Test Prep Programs (GRE, GMAT, and LSAT). Lana also works closely with the Washington Mentorship Program and UM in DC Program. She assists students through the admissions process, works with the recruitment team, and serves as the Academic Advisor for these student populations, working closely with students to make sure the programs meet student's individualized needs through both their seminars and internship experiences. Lana holds an MPA in Global Policy Analysis and Developmental Evaluation from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA). Lana received her B.A. in Political Science from American University's School of Public Affairs, in 2009, and was an alumna of the Washington Semester International Law and Organizations Program. Prior to coming to SPExS, Lana coordinated Indiana University’s Service Corps Program and worked as the Webmaster and Technology Coordinator for American University’s Women & Politics Institute. She is a volunteer grant writer for the Burmese American Community Initiative and volunteers with Prevent Child Abuse America. Lana also serves as the advisor for Sigma Delta Tau sorority, Gamma Delta chapter at AU.
