Julia Marrone studied at American University and received her BA in Psychology. During her undergraduate career, Julia worked at a DC-based nonprofit called BroadFutures, a workforce training program for young adults with learning disabilities and ADHD that provides work experience and mentorship. As a mentor to program participants, Julia assisted in their professional development and aided in their transitions to attain post-secondary or workforce goals beyond the program. On campus, Julia worked as a Peer Advisor in the College of Arts and Sciences for two years, acting as Lead Peer during the second year. In this role, she met with up to 150 students and managed many aspects of the program under her staff supervisor. Currently, Julia works as an Academic Advisor in CAS for students in the Psychology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematics & Economics, and Physics programs. Julia is originally from the suburbs of Atlantic City, NJ but now resides in Washington, DC.
