Adrienne O'Rourke joined the Kogod Center for Career Development (KCCD) in March 2015 as the Assistant Director of Employer Relations. Adrienne's role is to manage recruiting through CareerSource, On-Campus Recruiting (OCR), Information Sessions and Industry Days. In addition, she manages relationships with current employers and assists the Associate Director of Employer Relations in establishing relationships with new employers to bring to Kogod students.
Prior to joining KCCD, Adrienne worked in recruiting for four years in both the healthcare and television industries in New York City. In her most recent role at a New York State health insurance company, she managed the summer internship program and worked with local colleges in the area to place students in internships throughout the organization. It was through this experience that Adrienne discovered her passion for working with college students and helping them make connections to potential opportunities. Upon her relocation to Washington, D.C., she decided to focus on positions that enabled her to work full time with this population, and believes that this position is a perfect fit for blending her interests and experiences. Adrienne was also a page at NBCUniversal, where she led NBC Studio Tours and worked for the "Today" show and the USA Network. Adrienne received her bachelor's degree in Corporate Communications from James Madison University.
