As Associate Director for Research Support, Dr. Assenov, provides direct faculty and student research support and is responsible for all Enterprise quantitative and qualitative research applications and platforms support used at American University. He also manages the CTRL Laboratory, serves as the University’s liaison to the Inter-University Consortium on Political and Social Research (ICPSR), and provides consultation and technical assistance to faculty using ICPSR datasets.
Dr. Assenov is adjunct professorial lecturer in the School of International Service. In his faculty role, he teaches quantitative research methods class for graduate students.
Dr. Assenov has appeared extensively in the media, including interviews on Bulgarian National Television, Bulgarian National Radio, Bulgarian business magazine Manager.
