David Booth
MPP - Public Policy
David Booth is a second-year Master of Public Policy candidate at American University's School of Public Affairs. His B.A. is from Old Dominion University (2010), where he majored in Psychology and Linguistics. David is interested in exploring the intersection of sexuality and criminal legislation. Specifically, Mr. Booth investigates the impact of sex offender registration and notification and their collateral consequences on registrants and their families. He holds an additional internship position at a small non-profit where he advocates for the fair legal treatment of sexual minorities and works to encourage community building among sexual minorities and families impacted by the criminal justice system.
