Dan Perkins is a recent graduate from the MFA program at American University. He received a B.A. in Art, earning cum laude honors, from Furman University in 2010. He is a founding member of Delicious Spectacle, an emerging visual arts space in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of Washington DC. His paintings are held in the collection of the Commission on the Arts and Humanities of the District of Columbia, the Katzen Museum at American University, as well as other private collections. Dan has exhibited in group and solo shows throughout the United States and abroad. He has had exhibitions in Berlin, Germany, Cortona, Italy, Baltimore, Maryland, DC, and Virginia. He has attended several artist residency programs throughout the United States, including the Vermont Studio Center, the Chautauqua Institution in western New York, and the Hambidge Center in northern Georgia.
