B.A. Anthropology from The University at Buffalo

Bio
Hazel is a graduate student studying Game Design. She graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, with a concentration in Physical Anthropology and Bioarchaeology, from The University at Buffalo. She is particularly interested in the intersection of games, politics, and social issues and eager to explore the genre of Alternate Reality Games (ARGs) within the contextual theme of politics and social issues.

During the summer of 2019, Hazel was an intern at the Smithsonian Science Education Center (SSEC) in Washington, DC developing curriculum for the SSEC's Global Goals initiative as well as aiding in the production of a new digital video game. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with fellow grad students and learning to play the cuatro.
