Juliana Ramia Capellan
MS - Justice, Law & Society
Juliana Ramia completed her Law Degree with Cum-Laude Honors in the Dominican Republic on December 2012. She is currently enrolled in the Justice, Law & Criminology Masters with a concentration in Criminal Justice & Public Policy, in the School of Public Affairs of American University.
Prior to joining JPO, Juliana worked for two years in the Prosecution Office of Santiago which is dependent of the General Attorney’s Office of the Dominican Republic. She was the Director for Coordination of Trials for the Final Litigation Department and worked with prosecutors, judges, attorneys, and offenders. Juliana has also worked in social projects and campaigns that promote the prevention of domestic violence and drug abuse. She speaks fluent Spanish and English and proficient Italian.
