Bio
Katie joined ISSS in August 2015. Prior to coming to AU, Katie worked for several years at the American Council on Education (ACE). At ACE, Katie managed several leadership programs for senior campus leaders who focused on internationalizing U.S. college campuses. Katie moved to Washington, DC from the Midwest in 2010 to pursue a master's degree in international education at The George Washington University. During her time at GW, Katie worked in graduate admissions and exchange programs at the Elliott School of International Affairs and in academic program administration in the Graduate School of Education and Human Development. Katie discovered her passion for working with international students while an international student herself in both Russia and the Czech Republic. She believes in creating an environment of welcoming and support for AU's international students and scholars, providing them with the best possible service once they walk through the doors of ISSS.
