Matthew Fredericks is an American film director, screenwriter and producer whose films are best known for their ability to translate brand messages and information in a distinctive visual and narrative style. He has produced award-winning commercials, branded content, short films, documentaries, news features, PSAs, marketing/PR projects, music videos; as well as animation/motion graphics, and social media content.
Mathew has received three Emmy Awards for Outstanding Direction (American University Wonks, 2012) Outstanding Commercial (All The Wonks are Talking, 2011) and Historical/Cultural Single News Production (JFK: Building Peace For All Time, 2013). His work has been featured on shows including: "Meet the Press", "Fox Sunday Morning", "NBC Nightly News", "Good Morning America", "Today" as well as networks including: PBS, Fox News, NBC, CBS, Comedy Central, CNN, the CW, and Comcast.
Matt began his career at Bowling Green State University where he was the creative force behind hundreds of commercials and targeted video productions. In the last 14 years, he has created and managed two separate in-house production teams within university marketing-communications offices.
