Neko Michelle Castleberry is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Public Administration and Policy at American University. Her research interests include policies regarding sexual and reproductive health, family planning, evidence-based gynecological/obstetrical care, LGBTQ+ health care and disparities, and gender equality. Her articles have appeared in Contraception, the American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Sexual Health, and the Journal of Women's Health. She is a 2021 Grant Recipient of the Horowitz Foundation for Social Policy. Prior to pursuing her PhD in Public Policy, she conducted research at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
