Bio
Bobby's research interests include civil-military relations, national defense policy, organizational behavior and culture, and strategic decision-making. His dissertation explores defense policy congruence between the executive, legislature, and military through the federal budgeting process. Bobby is an active-duty Air Force officer, in which he previously served as combat aircrew in Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, and Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. Bobby is also a Foreign Area Officer with experience in Latin America and Europe. He served staff tours at U.S. Southern Command and in the Pentagon.
