Bio
Ha’s research interests lie at the development/democracy nexus. He is specifically interested in the roles and power of bureaucracy in development, foreign aid, and decentralization. His current research focuses on the power of state elites in social reproduction in South Korea. He has experience as a development practitioner for Korean government, especially in Africa for several years. Ha holds MA and BA degrees in International Relations and a BA in Economics from Seoul National University.
