Robia Charles is a California native who holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley. From 2010 to 2012, she was Associate Regional Director of the Caucasus Research Resource Centers which operates in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. Robia has a M.A. in Eurasian and Russian Studies from the European University of St. Petersburg, Russia and a M.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Her undergraduate studies focused on Russian and Mathematics at the University of California, Davis. Robia specializes in post-communist politics, qualitative and quantitative methodologies, and the intersection of politics and religion.
