2020 University Faculty Award Recipients and Years of Service Honorees

Please join me in congratulating the 2020 University Faculty Award recipients. The individuals listed below have contributed immeasurably to the AU community, to their disciplines, and to the lives of their students and colleagues. They have demonstrated excellence in their teaching, scholarship, service, and efforts to promote diversity and inclusion. I would like to extend my gratitude to the Faculty Senate’s Faculty Awards Review Committee for their efforts in reviewing this year’s nominations, with particular thanks to John Heywood for serving as chair.

I am also pleased to announce the faculty members who have reached milestone anniversaries ranging from 25 to 50 years of service, as well as those retiring during the 2019–2020 academic year. The impact that these dedicated individuals have made on AU is remarkable, and they have shaped the institution in countless ways.

Many thanks to all of our 2020 honorees for their exceptional work!
