Kogod Welcome Week 2013 in Photos

By Laura Herring

Last week marked the beginning of a new life chapter for more than 100 undergraduate students and more than 200 graduate students as they joined the Kogod community.

In addition to their university-wide orientation sessions, new freshmen and undergraduate transfer students learned more about Kogod through welcome presentations led by Associate Dean for Academic Programs Lawrence Ward and the Kogod Leadership and Applied Business (K-LAB) team.

New freshmen who chose to participate in Kogod’s Capital Connections program also had the opportunity to visit five businesses in the region, including Discovery Communications and Honest Tea, and hear from company executives about how they operate.

For new graduate students, the week included a mini case competition, a lunch with members of the faculty and an introduction to all the opportunities to become involved with the Kogod community during their time in school.
