In fall 2018, we will be rolling out a brief training program to all Principal Investigators (Pls) who receive sponsored research awards. This training program, along with our other training initiatives (RAC, GAR meetings, NCURA, and other professional association-related training, etc.), is intended to build capacity in research administration across campus and help to reduce documented enterprise risk/ audit issues in the campus-wide management of sponsored projects. The self-paced, online training module MUST be completed before PIs can start spending new grant funds after September 2018.
