Section Title: Research Ethics/Sci Integrity
Research Ethics and Scientific Integrity (1) This course uses real and hypothetical case studies to discuss ethical questions and dilemmas related to scientific research. Through readings and discussions, students discuss topics such as research misconduct, bias, mentoring, collaboration, animal/human subjects, conflicts of interest, publication/peer review, whistleblowing, stem cells, and data management. Prerequisite: junior or senior standing.
