FIN-230 Finance: Concepts/Applications Course Level: Undergraduate

Finance: Concepts and Applications (3) This introductory course for non-business majors surveys the fundamental concepts and applications in finance, including financial markets, time value of money, risk and return, stock and bond valuation, and capital budgeting. Basic accounting, economic, and statistical concepts are introduced and firm and industry examples are used to illustrate various types of managerial problems. Note: This course is designed for non-business majors and may not be substituted for FIN 365 and/or ACCT 240.
