FIN-462 Private Wealth Management (3) Course Level: Undergraduate

Private Wealth Management (3) This course focuses on methods of sound money management in preparation for Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification. Students learn to prepare personal financial plans, evaluate and select management investments, analyze insurance, and use credit effectively; including mortgages. The course also covers financial strategies for tax minimization and retirement planning. The methodology is that of life-cycle planning and personal risk management. Prerequisite: FIN-365.
