Course Level: Graduate

This course focuses on the predicament of children in various situations around the world in which they are exploited, abused, or disadvantaged. Includes street children, child soldiers, child labor, AIDS orphans, handicapped children, and trafficking in children. Constructive alternatives to deal with these problems are also discussed. Usually offered every fall.
