Advisors in the AU Office of Merit Awards help current students to identify appropriate opportunities and partner with faculty to assist with the application process. Merit Awards staff also advertise scholarship opportunities campus-wide and organize special events and workshops.

Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program
Learn more about the provisions in The College Cost Reduction and Access Act of 2007 extended to those who are employed in public service here.
Graduate and non-degree students are charged tuition on a per credit hour basis. For the 2013-14 academic year, tuition is $1,440 per credit. SIS program fees (per semester) are $750 (full-time students) or $500 (part-time students). Full-time enrollment is defined as 9 or more credit hours per semester. About Need-Based Aid
Need-based aid is administered through the University's Central Office of Financial Aid. At the graduate level, it generally takes the form of a federal low-interest loan package with a work-study option. Both part-time and full-time students may apply for need-based assistance.
