Massimo Bottura, the world renowned and influential chef, has become one of the most passionate voices on the topic of food waste and social inclusion in recent years. In 2015, he established Refettorio Ambrosiano, a community soup kitchen, to coincide with the Milan Expo. In an abandoned theater re-designed by leading Italian designers, Bottura and more than 60 of his chef friends, from Ferran Adrià to René Redzepi, cooked for visitors throughout the Expo.
