A few of my scholarly interests: language in general and linguistic anthropology, food, all things Eastern European, gentrification and placemaking, economic anthropology, informality.
I am the Faculty Advisor for Food-Fueled, a student journal on food issues.

Avid bibliophile and cruciverbalist.
