Bio
Dr.Supriya Karudapuram received her Ph.D from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in International and Intercultural Communication and Cultural Studies. Supriya has held positions as Assistant and Associate Professor at DePaul University, Chicago, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and International College Beijing that partners with University of Colorado-Denver. She I'd author of 2 books on postcolonial identity and has published articles and book chapters on the intersections of cultural identity in context. Supriya's current research interests are China-India relations and communication in a changing global landscape. Her teaching interests include Cross-cultural communication, global media such as social media, and gender communication. She was twice fellow at the Center for 21st Century Studies.
