Bio
Friederike Mieth is a social and cultural anthropologist and currently Scholar in Residence at the School of International Service. Mieth’s research has focused on everyday practices of dealing with the past, the impact of transitional justice mechanisms, and the link between transitional justice and long-term social transformation. She is co-editor of Transitional Justice Theories (Routledge 2014) and The German Compensation Program for Forced Labor: Practice and Experiences (Foundation Remembrance, Responsibility and Future, 2017).
