Tenure Track Faculty Positions
The School of International Service invites applications/nominations for one tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin Fall (August) 2014. The position is in the field of emerging or rising powers. Responsibilities include teaching and research supervision at the undergraduate and graduate levels, mentoring students, university service, and participating in SIS and University governance. Qualifications: PhD or highest equivalent degree in a relevant discipline and record of teaching and research excellence. We seek highly productive scholar-teachers whose work is theoretically grounded, empirically tested, and policy relevant. The ideal candidate will share the School’s commitments to academic excellence, diversity, and service. The School of International Service is ranked by its peers as a top ten international relations program at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and consists of more than 100 full-time faculty working across multiple disciplines.
We seek candidates working on emerging powers, including China, India, Turkey or Indonesia, or in the larger context of BRIICS countries.
