The Thomas B. Fordham Institute and American Enterprise Institute has named Assistant Professor Seth Gershenson a 2013-14 Emerging Education Policy Scholar.

The Emerging Education Policy Scholars (EEPS) program brings together a cohort of up-and-coming scholars for workshops with top policymakers, researchers, and elected officials. Many of the most prolific junior scholars in education policy are alumni of the program, including faculty at Harvard, Stanford, NYU, and Vanderbilt. Seth's selection for the program is strong evidence of his potential to make important contributions to education policy research.

"I am thrilled to be participating in the EEPS program,” Gershenson said, “and I look forward to interacting with the diverse group of scholars, practitioners, and policymakers associated with the program."
