Founded in 1905, Korea University (KU) is one of the oldest, largest, and top-ranked universities in Korea. KU prides itself on being not only a progressive and globally conscious institution, but also one that plays a role in preserving and developing Korea’s unique culture. Students may choose to spend one or two semesters at KU


Students will enroll as full-time students for one semester alongside KU undergraduate students. Students are allowed to enroll in 12-17 credits in the Division of International Studies (DIS) at KU each semester. Credits are KU are equated - 1 KU credit: 1 AU credit.

  • East Asian and Korean Studies
  • Globalization
  • International Organizations

Language Requirement

Courses for exchange students are conducted in English.
