- For more than 16 years, Erin Turner has developed, implemented, and managed integrated multi-stakeholder scientific and health communications programs for foundations, nonprofit organizations, pharmaceutical and medical device companies, and federal agencies. As the director of Palladian Partner’s strategic communications department, Erin leads a team of approximately 30 communicators. She provides strategic direction and oversees outreach on major health communications contracts with agencies within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, and multiple Institutes, Centers, and Offices of the National Institutes of Health. Erin's experience includes overseeing full-service contracts that include strategic planning, research, messaging, positioning, creative concepting, paid media, earned media, thought leadership, digital and social strategy, materials development, analytics, and measurement. Prior to her time at Palladian, Erin was the acting managing director of the DC office of Porter Novelli and a senior vice president in healthcare. She has also held positions at Spectrum Science Communications and Vanguard Communications. Erin has a master’s degree in public communication and a bachelor's degree in political science and interdisciplinary studies (CLEG), both from American University.
