- A 20 year veteran of Discovery Communications, Elliot oversees Discovery's global international content sales business and manages a vast global sales and operations team. He is responsible for the company’s free & pay television, new media (VOD/OTT), format, theatric, institutional, and private network sales of programming from Discovery’s portfolio of global channel brands which includes an industry leading catalog of 8,000 premiere hours per year and 300,000 library hours. In this role Elliot also spearheads content acquisition and co-financing with a global network of production companies for Discovery Global Enterprises’ worldwide distribution. In addition, he is responsible for Discovery’s two Canadian joint venture partnerships, consisting of 9 channels, including all linear, digital and trademark licensing. He currently sits on the board of directors for Discovery Canada.
